It’s most unlikely that we ever get worn out of love stories!
From the epic Shakespearean love story Romeo and Juliet to the prolific works of Jane Austen, literature always celebrated the tales of true and unconditional love.
While it’s true that a lot of authors are writing romance novels nowadays, I am not really a fan of many.
The first-ever contemporary romance novel I read was Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks.
When I read it a few years back I had no clue that Sparks has been one of the world’s most beloved storytellers and that all of his books have been New York Times bestsellers.
I am definitely going to read some of his bestselling works this year. This is why I came up with a few of my favorite quotes from Sparks’ novels!
“Love is like the wind, you can’t see it but you can feel it.” ―A Walk to Remember
“So it’s not gonna be easy. It’s going to be really hard; we’re gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, every day. You and me… every day.” ― The Notebook
“Just when you think it can’t get any worse, it can. And just when you think it can’t get any better, it can.” – At First Sight
“My daddy said, that the first time you fall in love, it changes you forever and no matter how hard you try, that feeling just never goes away.” – The Notebook
“If you like her if she makes you happy, and if you feel like you know her—then don’t let her go.” –Message in a Bottle
“Every couple needs to argue now and then. Just to prove that the relationship is strong enough to survive. Long-term relationships, the ones that matter, are all about weathering the peaks and the valleys.” – Safe Haven
“Sometimes you have to be apart from people you love, but that doesn’t make you love them any less. Sometimes you love them more.” –The Last Song
“The greater the love, the greater the tragedy when it’s over.” –Nights in Rodanthe
“True love is rare, and it’s the only thing that gives life real meaning.”- Message in a Bottle
“I mean, if the relationship can’t survive the long term, why on earth would it be worth my time and energy for the short term?” –The Last Song
“The greater the love, the greater the tragedy when it’s over.” ― Nights in Rodanthe
“Every great love starts with a great story…” ― The Notebook
“Our story has three parts: a beginning, a middle, and an end. And although this is the way all stories unfold, I still can’t believe that ours didn’t go on forever.” –Dear John
