She began her career as a casting assistant. Reid published her first novel in 2013. Since then Reid has published eight books!
It was in 2020 that I read Reid’s bestselling novel The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. I was both intrigued and astounded by her impeccable storytelling. I am a sucker for historical fiction books and this novel is a fusion of historical fiction, romance and contemporary fiction. That’s why I simply couldn’t put it down!
Reid’s latest novel Malibu Rising is another incredible story. I picked up the book within the first week of its release! And I just finished reading her latest novel, Carrie Soto is Back!

Reid’s third book Maybe in Another Life is not entirely a romance novel.
Yes, it has the themes of romance but the story discusses the choices in our lives, the what-ifs that we constantly deal with.
Hannah Martin is certainly not at a pleasant phase of her life. She has no job and no place to call home. Her affair with a married man has been terrible. Now she packs up to move to her hometown where she is about to meet her best friend Gabby.
However, she also meets her high school boyfriend, Ethan. Soon Hannah has to make a choice between these two, Gabby or Ethan. What will her life be?
