Sheltered her whole life, she suddenly faces the chaos of war, navigating life and death each day. The real challenge comes when she returns home to a divided America. Book Lovers by Emily Henry

I know Book Lovers was a 2022 release, but I loved it so much that I had to include it. It’s got that small-town, feel-good vibe that’s perfect October reading list. Nora Stephens is a literary agent, and when her sister convinces her to take a trip to a small town in North Carolina, Nora doesn’t expect to keep bumping into Charlie Lastra, an editor she’s had some not-so-cute run-ins with. It’s a charming story about rivals, love, and finding your own story.
