The other day I was watching Marie Claire’s Shelf Portrait– the show where celebrities and famous bookworms talk about books and give the tour of their massive libraries with the latest episode featuring singer and songwriter Alanis Morisette. She describes how reading spiritual books changed her life. That’s  kind of how it occurred to me that I haven’t really read that many spiritual books that discuss life skills such as spiritual growth and emotional intelligence. Or books that help change our mindset on life in general.

So I picked up “The four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz”, a few days later to give it a go. The book focuses on the four agreements that we as human beings should follow. Although it doesn’t dive deep into topics such as meditations of spiritual awakening, I indeed felt it was a beautiful book to inspire you to start your own spiritual journey.
