The Correspondent by Virginia Evans

Written entirely through letters, The Correspondent introduces readers to Sybil Van Antwerp, a witty and opinionated woman looking back on her life while trying to make peace with the people she loves. As old regrets resurface, she finds the courage to say the things she’s left unsaid. It’s a warm, thoughtful novel with one of my favorite recent literary fiction characters.
