Bride was entertaining and actually an incredible novel. I really enjoyed the paranormal romance. To be honest, this made me a fan of steamy romance books. I also loved the mix of romance, politics, and mystery.

Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver
Demon Copperhead was such a memorable book. I didn’t want it to end because it felt like Demon had so many more stories to tell. You don’t always get attached to characters, but Demon is someone who stays with you. The book is set in the mountains of southern Appalachia.
This story has so much heart and depth. It’s inspired by David Copperfield, but you don’t need to know that to feel the impact. It’s the kind of book that lingers long after you finish it.

The Measure by Nikki Erlick
This book had such an interesting concept! The best part for me was how it explores different people’s stories, including friends, couples, and strangers; all reacting in their own way. Some make life-changing choices. Although there were many POVs, I really enjoyed each one, and it wasn’t hard to follow at all. It’s one of those books that makes you think: Would you open the box? I think this would be a great book club pick. Check out 31 discussion questions for The Measure.

This book really surprised me with how sharp and engaging it is. It is the story June. She steals her friend’s book after her death and pretends it’s her own. I really liked the drama and the dark humor. There also discussion of topics like racism, cultural appropriation, and the pressures of social media. I have to say this is definitely a unforgettable book I have read.

If you want to read a really good summer romance with heartwarming themes check out this one. It follows Justin and Emma, who believe they’re cursed in love. Although they started out looking for a quick fling, they end up uncovering a lot about each other. This was such a unputdownable book. I feel these are the kinds of book you should read if you want to develop reading habit in 2025.
Justin has a curse, and thanks to a Reddit thread, it’s now all over the internet. Every woman he dates goes on to find their soul mate the second they break up. When a woman slides into his DMs with the same problem, they come up with a plan: They’ll date each other and break up. This is one of the best books of 2024 for me. I really enjoyed this uplifting book. It’s about life and how unpredictable it can be. The style reminded me of Matt Haig and Fredrik Backman. This is one of the best audiobook of 2024. I loved it so much that I finished it in one day! The story is about Phoebe Stone, a woman in her forties, whose husband leaves her after years of marriage..
